In general release Sep 25

Can be saved to you Netflix DVD queue for when it IS released.
I don’t know if I’ll be able to handle this one … one of my kids had night terrors. (I was just a sleepwalker, as far as I know, when I was a kid.)

From IMDb: A young couple adopt an orphaned child whose dreams – and nightmares – manifest physically as he sleeps.

Nicholas Cage. AND it’s set, at least in part, on Halloween. I’m in.

From MovieWeb: …Intense and chilling thriller about one man’s desperate search for his missing child. One year after his young son disappeared during a Halloween carnival, Mike Lawford (Cage) is haunted by eerie images and terrifying messages he can’t explain. Together with his estranged wife (Sarah Wayne Callies, The Walking Dead), he will stop at nothing to unravel the mystery and find their son—and, in doing so, he unearths a legend that refuses to remain buried in the past.

Psycho (1960) R

PLAYED NATIONWIDE ON SUNDAY SEPT. 20th & WEDNESDAY SEPT. 23rd, 2016

Learn more and buy your tickets HERE.

We went on Sunday and it was awesome. Not enough audience to make it as good as it could have been, but the film quality was stunning. Seeing it on the big screen makes it easier to notice all the details Hitchcock embedded in the settings, and highlights the exceptional performances by Janet Leigh and Anthony Perkins. You’ve got one more chance to see for yourself, on Wednesday night.
On IMDb here.

Last week, I shared the actual trailer for the film, from 1960. Here’s a fan-made re-cut, to match more modern trailer conventions, just for fun. (Give the guy a like, this is fine work, though I think he reveals a little too much.)
