Scott Davis, over at DC Photo Artist, is a talented photographer who also collects CDV (carte de visite) photographs from the 19th century. His latest addition can be found at the recent post, Circus Freaks – Chinese(?) Pinheads in Williamsport, PA. Until he posted this one, I did not know he had such a collection but, because his blog is well designed, I was quickly able to access all the entries in the category, Circus Freaks. It’s a treasure trove.

‘Tis the season … for death.
Murder reminds Detective Helene Collias of Holly PD that crime doesn’t respect holidays. And the last victim she ever expected to find in her case files is the sister of her old flame, Sean Grant. Ordinarily, Helene’s psychic gifts give her an edge but this time, that gift has short-circuited. Could her lingering attraction to Sean be blurring her abilities, or is something more sinister at work?
