Macabre & Mysterious Music: It Lives! by Midnight Syndicate.

Ah. Midnight Syndicate. There are so many macabre albums to choose from. This little piece is from ‘Monsters of Legend‘.

I should embed it on the post of 13 iconic movies – for those in need of a horror foundation, shouldn’t I?

NOTE: Because I’m a stickler for respecting copyright, anything posted here at the blog will be carefully vetted – I’ll only embed videos and sound clips posted to YouTube by the artist for sharing, or those being offered by the original artist from the artist’s home page. If you know of a cool, creepy, macabre or mysterious song, drop me a comment. I’m always looking for good stuff.

  1. As a former composer, the section that starts at :42 just really gets me all giddy and wanting to hit the piano with a blank manuscript. 😉

  2. Hunter Shea says:

I do a lot of writing with their music in the background. Even better, they’re great guys, too.

    • Me too. I prefer working to instrumentals, unless I’ve heard the songs so many time that I don’t even have to sing along in my head anymore. I do have at least one playlist of classic rock & pop that works, and one of bluesy standards.

Midnight Syndicate, though, sets exactly the right mood. Have you tried any Nox Arcana? I think that might work for me too.
