Macabre & Mysterious Music: Ain’t No Rest for the Wicked by Cage the Elephant

I’m always looking for fresh songs that fit into the (admittedly ecclectic) category of Macabre & Mysterious Music. This one was brought to me by my son. Warning: the chorus Is insanely sticky.

If you know of a cool, creepy, macabre or mysterious song, drop me a comment. I’m always looking for good stuff.

This is one of my favorites. It was my ring tone for a long time after it first came out. Good pick! 🙂

    • I had to yeild to my son’s wishes – he doesn’t offer up blog fodder very often. I really like the song though.

His next suggestion is that we do a “let’s play” together. That’s a recorded video game session, if you’re like me and have no idea what that means. He thinks it’d be funny to do a horror-based game together, because, “You suck at video games, and (when it comes to horror) I’m a big wuss.”

This will forever be one of my favorite songs. “Come A Little Closer” is getting up there on my list though http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1JcpXKSNqFg pretty sweet
